The HI-6121 Remote Terminal Developer’s Kit is a reference design for a MIL-STD-1553B Remote Terminal with on-board bus interface transformers for connection to a MIL-STD-1553 bus. The HI-6121 kit uses a 4-wire SPI interface to a Zilog® ZNEOTM microprocessor. The Zilog® ZNEOTM microprocessor can be programmed using the supplied Zilog® USB “Smart Cable”. The board also includes two external flash EEPROM devices which can be used for automatic initialization.
