Mission Viejo, CA (August 30, 2018) – Holt Integrated Circuits today expanded its discrete-to-digital sensor family with the release of seven new devices with integrated lightning protection. The sensor inputs meet the lightning requirements of specification RTCA/DO160G, Section 22 Level 3 Pin Injection Test Waveform Set A (3 & 4), Set B (3 & 5A) and Set Z (3 & 5B) without the need for any external components. Select devices provide input threshold voltage ranges compliant to Airbus specification ABD0100 and all are pin-compatible drop-in replacements for existing Holt and competitive devices. The sensor digital outputs are CMOS/TTL compatible and may be disabled (tri-state) using the /CE and /OE pins. The included table provides a quick cross reference guide.
The devices are available in industrial −40oC to +85oC and extended −55oC to +125oC temperature ranges. Samples are available from Holt on request.
