Mission Viejo, CA (March 11, 2015) - Holt Integrated Circuits today announced the introduction of a new 3.3V MIL-STD-1553/1760 dual transceiver with integrated dual transformers. At less than 4.6mm when mounted, this new device, HI-2579CG, has the lowest height and footprint available on the market today and is an ideal choice for applications using cards with component height restrictions, such as PMC and XMC.
The HI-2579 die is hermetically sealed on a ceramic LCC substrate and dual transformers are mounted in the same package. The ceramic substrate allows extended temperature operation from −55oC to +125oC and achieves Moisture Sensitivity Level (MSL) 1.
The product is specifically designed for use with MIL-STD-1553/1760 FPGA designs, and provides a single-component solution to interface an FPGA directly with a dual redundant MIL-STD-1553 bus.

The devices are available in industrial (−40oC to +85oC) and extended (−55oC to +125oC) temperature ranges. Samples are available on request.
