Mission Viejo, CA - Holt Integrated Circuits introduces a variable output voltage transceiver to its rapidly growing range of CMOS MIL-STD-1553 products. The HI-1570 is a dual transceiver featuring a user programmable transmit output voltage that is easily controlled through a reference voltage pin. Targeted primarily for test equipment and bus analysis applications, the HI-1570 offers the lowest standby power consumption of any part available on the market today. The HI-1570 is packaged in a 20-pin ceramic DIP that is pin-compatible with parts from other manufacturers. For reduced cost and board space, this part also comes packaged in a 20-pin thermally-enhanced plastic SOIC.
This new Transceiver complements Holt's existing HI-1567 / HI-1568 MIL-STD-1553 transceivers and the HI-15530 Manchester Encoder / Decoder. Further MIL-STD-1553 product offerings from Holt are scheduled for release later this year.
