Holt enters the MIL-STD-1553 military avionics data bus market with its new HI-1567 Dual Transceiver. Designed using state-of-the-art analog CMOS technology, the HI-1567 is the smallest and most power-efficient 5V dual transceiver in the industry. The device is available in a 20-pin thermally enhanced plastic SOIC package with an integrated metal heat sink to ensure adequate heat dissipation for even in the most demanding environments. Measuring only 0.5 x 0.4 inches and only 0.1 inches thick, the plastic SOIC package is ideal for PCMCIA applications. The HI-1567 in the standard 20-pin ceramic DIP package offers a lower-cost, lower-power alternative to other transceivers on the market.
